Outdoor Living Approvals is operated by Graham Garnett who successfully designed and constructed 100’s of landscape jobs over 30 years involving pools, landscapes, decks and pergolas, retaining walls, sheds, carports and studios. Graham found the approval process arranged by draftsmen to be lacking in professionalism, detail and without construction knowledge which ultimately meant many questions from the approving body and therefore time wasted. Hence, Graham combined his construction experience of 30 years including liaising with certifiers, council officers, consultants and contractors with his CAD design skills and knowledge of the CDC/DA processes to create a “One Stop Shop” for the approval process. 

It is rare a site is “dead flat” so Graham understands how to situate outdoor structures in relation to each other such as pools or sheds and the surrounding walls created by the proposed excavation. It is extremely important to understand this site to structure relationship otherwise if poorly located but approved, it will cost you $$$$. This is where OLA truly has a competitive advantage over like approval (drafting) companies.  

OLA specialises in site analysis and preparation of plans and documents for External Structures such as Swimming Pools, Decks, Pergolas and Awnings, Retaining Walls, Shed, Carports, Studies and Granny Flats for Complying Development (Private Certifier) or Development Applications (Council) approvals.
